Ally Bank has a mobile banking app that lets customers take better control of their Ally Bank cards. In the app, there is a feature called the Ally Card Controls App. Here are some of its highlight tools:
If you have a Money Market or Checking account, you can download the Ally bank app bundled with the Card Controls App. Log in and choose "Card Controls" in the menu to start using the card controls app.
Please call Ally Bank immediately at 1-877-247-2559 for card cancellation in instances of compromised card or stolen card. A new Ally Card will be issued as replacement.
You can speed this process up by turning "Off" your debit card from your Card Controls app.
Cash back is the amount of money added to the total value of your transaction. For example, you buy a $25 worth of goods and ask for a $25 cash back. You will then pay using your card a total of $50 ($25 + $25) and receive $25 in cash from the merchant along with your purchased items.
Typically, when you swipe your Ally debit card to pay for a purchase, the card reader will prompt you if you prefer to receive a cash back. You will then enter the amount of your desired cash back and your card PIN number.
You won't be charged with anything when you use an Allpoint ATM in the United States. Other bank's ATMs will charge you with a $10 fee. However, these charges by other banks will be reimbursed to you by Ally Bank every end of statement cycle.
